No, i do not think Americans forgot about Sept 11th. Lots of people lost relatives or people who were close to them that day. I personally didnt lose anybody that day, but i do know a lot of people who have. For some people its hard to know that somebody they knew died that day. To me, its an event in history that is hard to forget.
No, I do not beleive that Americans have forgotten. I know lots of people who had friends and family die that day. I didnt loose anyone I knew, but i know that it would have been devistating. It was such a horrible thing to happen that i think no one could ever totaly forget. I admit that i dont really think about it as much as i should...once and a while i will occationaly remember what happend...but i dont think that i will ever permanintly forget. I remember every single thing i did that day, even though i was only in first grade.
i agree with both of you. no, we have not forgotten about this tragic day it would be a big task to forget what had happened to the united states and all those innocent people on that very day. i still remember my mom turning on the news and we all sat and watched and cried over what was happening.
I dont think anyone could forget about sept. 11th. that was a tragic day for everyone, even if you didnt lose anyone. There were many people killed, and many families ruined. I dont think the united states will ever be the same because of it.
I don't think that Americans have forgot about sept. 11th at all. I think that in a strange way the event brought the country closer together. I was fortunate not to lose anyone I knew that day.
I agree with Shannon because I don't think that the US will ever be the same country because of sept. 11th. I also agree with Hannah because I remember everything I did that day and where I was when I found out about it. Like Hannah, I also know people who lost loved ones that day.
I also agree with shannon, and sara too, the country will never be the same but in some sense, it brings us togther. Sept. 11th was one of the biggest events in the U.S, thats going to be down in history for life. Soon in our s.s books.
No I don't think that Americans have forgot about September 11th. On the anniversary this year there were a lot of tributes to it on the news, radio and tv in general. Also I agree with Meagan, that event is a very big part of our country's history and will probably never be forgotten.
No i dont think people will ever forget september 11th. Lots of people lost loved ones. People around the world knew about. It was like the worst thing that happend to the United States. People will never forget it.
No... I highly doubt that anyone could forget this event. Perhaps when this generation dies out, which will be a while, the occurence of this event will become less pertinent. Also for anyone that watches the news it's pretty obvious that the media also does not want us to forget, which I believe is a good thing. It makes this nation want to work harder to preserve the peace we already have, and to create more.
No, September 11th was a changing day of the life of Americans. Although lives were lost it brought us together as a unified nation. We must never forget 9/11
most of americans have tried to get over the tragedie but it still lingers in our lives and is very hard for some people to get over it because it was very close to their hearts.
i dont think anyone forgets 9/11. It affected so many parts of everyones lives it too hard to forget. i agree with with kyle saying its hard to forget.
